Serving the Counties of Floyd, Giles, Montgomery, Pulaski and the City of Radford

The New River Valley Development Corporation is developing a network of local business/industrial incubators. The Corporation will offer incubator tenants counseling with business plan development, financial management and other business assistance as needed. By this means, the Corporation will provide opportunities for small businesses/industry in the area.

In February 1998, the Giles Business Incubator opened as a business development incubator and currently houses six tenants. It is owned and operated by Giles County. The New River Valley Competitiveness Center is an industrial development incubator that opened April 12, 1999 and currently has 14 tenants. The Jacksonville Center in Floyd County serves as an arts and cultural center and includes a small business incubator.
